About Me:
I enjoy the "joys" of life; loving, giving, caring, and friendship of others. To make a new friend, is like adding to my beautiful bouquet in God's garden!
I am a poetess, and as such, I am referred to as a Muse of Multiplicity, since I write about many topics. I am also a genealogist, and a grand lover of dogs!! My favorite poet is Mattie T.J. Stepanek, and the works of Edgar Allen Poe, and Robert Bruce. I also enjoy the Celtic music of Loreena McKennitt.

~Stop To See~

~Stop To See~ As you turn down the covers on your bed of dreams at night, And, you know you have done all while waging a good fight, End days with pride, not with disappointments amidst sighs; Do not leave tomorrow's dreams joined with defeated cries; Stop to see, The promise that tomorrow holds! Once a second has passed, it is thus forever in eternity lost; It dwells now among yesterdays as into lost time it is tossed, If you know that your hours have all been God-fearing spent; Then it is… Continue

~It Is Up To Thee~ Poem

~It Is Up To Thee~ As you journey in thought down the halls of time, Halls of memories past, ones angry or sublime; There is time for you to rise above the final fall, Time to sink into the mire or climb above it all. Do you try to rise above it all, Or do you give in and fall? Which shall it be - It is up to thee! As you listen, do you hear loud voices of pain, Bitter and angry from others who cannot gain? As you listen, do you try to remove yourself, Your fellow man attempt to advance, to… Continue

~Summertime Fun On the 4th. of July~ Poem

~Summertime Fun On The 4th. of July~ Fireworks explode high in the night sky; Oohs, and aahs, are familiar loud cries! Just which is the prettiest, we all debate, As such beauty we see each one create! There are stars, and ones that squiggle; Ones that just fizzle, and make us giggle! We watch the brilliant colors shooting out; Bursting in the dark sky, making us shout! Then others whistle a sound as they fall; As we watch them, "More, more, we call!" Loud booms waking sleepy time dreamers… Continue

~Carry Freedom Forth~ Poem for 4th. of July

~Carry Freedom Forth~ 'Tis the land of freedom of the red, white and blue. Many a man gave his life for liberty for me and you! We are a country proud of our forefathers so brave; Who by their dedication, their wealth and lives gave! It was because they believed in their freedom cause; That we were released from Britain's rule and laws! A Tea Party in Boston was part of the grand events; As many barrels of precious tea into the harbor went! Soldiers in the army held guns in their bloodie… Continue

~Do Not Wait~ poem

~Do Not Wait~ The world is so desolate, cold, very dark. I listen, but I cannot hear the meadow lark. Men's loud voices of sorrow rise in the air. They view one another with empty stares. Women hold babies tightly in shaking arms; Unable to protect them from touble and harm. Children run together, as they do try to play; Yet, as they do not feel joy, they turn away. THERE IS NOT JOY! There is not joy found in the cold, dark land; This was not to be the outcome of man's plan. There is n… Continue

There are n words to describe the pain that I know you are going through.
Some people glibly say, "Go and get another dog." But a pet passing away is not like loosing a cheap ball point pen in the street.
Grief for a pet is the same as it is for a person, particularly when the pet can snuggle up to you and responds like a dog does.
I lost a good companion some years ago.
We were working on a cattle stud & a bull took a dislike to me in the cattle yards. I didn't know it was coming at me, but my Jack stopped it, and took a ride on the bull's head. I lost Jack with a broken back. He had almost certainly saved my life.
I still grieve for Jack because there was nothing I could do for him and I never got proper closure.
Now, I'm a grief & loss counsellor and chaplain of pets.
You may have a chaplain of pets near you that can officiate at a pet funeral for your beloved one.
