He sang "Poor Wayfaring Stranger", and got the highest rank available: #1 - Superior. This means he will be moving on to state. Woo hoo! I'm so proud of him. The judge was very impressed, and said he was "a natural". Considering he is only a freshman, it was pretty high praise. Yeah buddy! (:

We videotaped it, so as soon as I get the cord I need I'll download it off our video camera and post it on my website for you to see.

(Dray is singing a solo in the District Music Festival, and he's scheduled to sing at 9:15. Ugh!) Why so early on a Saturday?? LOL!
