- I'm 52 year old woman living in northeast Texas with my sweet hubby. I work managing a nursing home kitchen . I Have 3 grown kiddos.. 7 grkiddos, 3 dogs and 2 love birds. I am a poet/writer . I love reading, gardening, the ocean.. so many things. My dad was Navy so we travelled the country most of my younger years and then I married a sailor..lol. Vacation, Trust, and Waiting
I am back.. :) This has been an interesting vacation. I did not really go anywhere special but I did spend special time with my hubby. It has been a vacation after a longggggggggggg period of stress and lessons learned. Waiting patiently has never been one of my strong points. I think it has to do with trust. Connected
I dropped my cell phone in a glass of tea and fried it. Instant panic. How was I going to stay connected without it ? Then , I got to thinking... ding..ding.. There are no cell phones in heaven . I do not call God on my cell when I need connecting. I go to His word. He is the Word. I pray. I praise and worship.
