About Me:
I am a military brat (Air Force) who claims Florida as my home after many moves in my life. And after giving my children a stable 'non-moving' upbringing, they've both taken off to find new adventures, so now my husband and I are adjusting to a silent house with our two big dogs.

I don't like it. And besides, I miss my grandchildren.

I opened the door to my heart when I was six years old and Jesus walked in and closed the door behind Him. It's locked by The Holy Spirit. He's been my Companion, Confidant and Strength during this journey of winding roads and storms. And I certainly have had my share of choosing the wrong roads ... not a good thing to do. But even as I have stumbled and fell He has been by my side, steady and constant, with His right hand grasping mine.

And even though I haven't always seen, heard or felt His Presence -- something deep inside me just 'knew.'

Like I said, the Holy Spirit locked the door -- God's stuck with me now... and forever.

Of hammers and coconuts.

I held a memory in my hand the other day that overswepted me with a feeling from long time past. I was in search of a hammer for my husband in my father's garage and found an old friend.
